Aaron Jameson started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Norman Gorrie fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aaron Jameson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fergus Revie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Connor Russell put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fergus Revie. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Connor Russell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golspie City's supporters rose to their feet, but Connor Russell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fergus Revie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 40 minutes, Angus Guthrie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢ and the Golspie City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢ got a freekick which was hit by Angus Guthrie. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢'s goalkeeper Fergus Revie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norman Gorrie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢'s goalkeeper Fergus Revie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Connor Russell. Benjamin McMurdoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Gorrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Norman Gorrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norman Gorrie struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Benjamin McMurdoch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢. Norman Gorrie might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin McMurdoch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norman Gorrie ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Norman Gorrie managed to get in a good position for a shot. ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢'s supporters rose to their feet, but Norman Gorrie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin McMurdoch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Golspie City's Benjamin McMurdoch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam McPhedran in the 79th minute of play. Aaron Jameson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Angus Guthrie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Connor Russell put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fergus Revie. After a rather tough play, Golspie City's Aaron Jameson got a free kick in the 91st minute. Sam McPhedran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Benjamin McMurdoch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢'s Norman Gorrie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin McMurdoch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Golspie City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
