Angus Guthrie charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angus Guthrie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Angus Guthrie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fergus Revie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Comrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢ were furious when Ben Tyre was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Greg Comrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢ defense, Angus Isles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fergus Revie. The ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fergus Revie should have stopped the shot. Sam McPhedran's late challenge caught a AFC Bournemouth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sam McPhedran helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sam McPhedran hit a great ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Greg Comrie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢'s Fergus Revie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sam McPhedran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nigel McAdam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Angus Isles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sam McPhedran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half AFC Bournemouth were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sam McPhedran to strike the kick off in the second half. Sam McPhedran struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Nigel McAdam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢. In the 54th minute Charlie McLerie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel McAdam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢'s Fergus Revie got control of the ball when Angus Isles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angus Isles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Fergus Revie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Greg Comrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fergus Revie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Comrie in the 73rd minute of play. Sam McPhedran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sam McPhedran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nigel McAdam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angus Isles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢'s Fergus Revie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Comrie in the 81st minute of play. Angus Isles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Greg Comrie came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the AFC Bournemouth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greg Comrie couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in ¢rคຊฯ ēງງ f¢'s zone, Greg Comrie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fergus Revie came out of the goal and Greg Comrie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AFC Bournemouth eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
