Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alex Greusach got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Black & Green Kiwis's Billy Marnoch got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Black & Green Kiwis's Gordon Beaton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Clayton in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Black & Green Kiwis getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Douglas McEachran hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Black & Green Kiwis's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Clayton came free, but Gordon Beaton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Motherwell's goalkeeper Jonathan Bowie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Greusach scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Bowie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gordon Beaton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Will McConacher in the 21st minute. When Douglas McEachran fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black & Green Kiwis's protests and gave Douglas McEachran a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Black & Green Kiwis got a freekick which was hit by Douglas McEachran. In the 25th minute Bradley Clayton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Beaton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Alex Greusach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motherwell's Jonathan Bowie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William Gibson might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Bowie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Gibson ran back to his position shaking his head. Sam McLennan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Gordon Beaton stood somewhat misplaced when Timmy Barclay came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 43 minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bradley Clayton to strike the kick off in the second half. Gordon Beaton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will McConacher in the 51st minute of the match. Gordon Beaton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bradley Clayton went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Bradley Clayton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motherwell's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradley Clayton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gordon Beaton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Will McConacher notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Black & Green Kiwis's Gordon Beaton. Gordon Beaton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Will McConacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam McLennan lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 74th minute, one of Black & Green Kiwis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Black & Green Kiwis. In the 79th minute of the match Stuart Kenneth shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gordon Beaton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gordon Beaton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will McConacher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Motherwell's Bradley Clayton managed to work through Black & Green Kiwis's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bradley Clayton dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jeremy Simson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Bowie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 played minutes Black & Green Kiwis got a freekick which was hit by Billy Marnoch. When Motherwell's Will McConacher in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black & Green Kiwis's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Black & Green Kiwis booed when Motherwell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Motherwell's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
