Jeremy McKinney scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roddie McGrory, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Irvin McKintosh did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Patrick McIlvrae 18 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Jedburgh got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Hewitt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc McKean in the 26th minute of play forced Fraserburgh's goalkeeper Roddie McGrory to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raymond McCaa kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fraserburgh's zone, Dean Morris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roddie McGrory came out of the goal and Dean Morris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick McIlvrae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond McCaa in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raymond McCaa in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick McIlvrae saved Jedburgh from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Jedburgh's Ronan Airth got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremy McKinney to strike the kick off in the second half. Irvin McKintosh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Patrick McIlvrae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Fraserburgh's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy McKinney came free, but Roddie McGrory reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Ronald Clarkson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Jedburgh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick McIlvrae should have stopped the shot. In the 78th match minute, Jedburgh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Craig McMath to maneuver through the defense. Jeremy McKinney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roddie McGrory read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Raymond McFie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Jedburgh's Jeremy McKinney ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roddie McGrory. Roddie McGrory yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Irvin McKintosh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick McIlvrae having to interfere. Marc McKean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roddie McGrory having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
