Spectators: 7706 (Terracing: 5781, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Celtic Green Path's Barry McSwan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Celtic Green Path got a freekick which was hit by Joe Paterson. Irvin McKintosh might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard McDaniell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irvin McKintosh in the 37th minute of play forced Celtic Green Path's goalkeeper Richard McDaniell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raymond McCaa scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard McDaniell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Irvin McKintosh might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard McDaniell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Irvin McKintosh ran back to his position shaking his head. Robin Constable sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Celtic Green Path players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fraserburgh were winning 1-3.

Raymond McCaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fraserburgh's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
