Davie Gow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Barclay, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, Tyler Ritchie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Air Jordan AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kirkliston City the free kick. Robbie McPhedron succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 25th playminute. 32 minutes into the game, Dougal Abbie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kirkliston City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Air Jordan AFC the free kick. Dougal Abbie kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ross McCuag's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davie Gow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Steve Donachie hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Keith Hill was the one to do the kick off. In the last second Davie Gow throw himself and got hold of the ball when Peter Barclay in the 67thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 67th match minute, Air Jordan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Duncanson to maneuver through the defense. Air Jordan AFC's Dominic McCoull couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kirkliston City. Keith Hill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keith Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan McSimon having to interfere. Robbie McPhedron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jonathan McSimon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan McSimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Air Jordan AFC's Jonathan McSimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keith Hill in the 92nd minute of play. Jonathan McSimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keith Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Air Jordan AFC defense, Keith Hill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan McSimon. The Air Jordan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan McSimon should have stopped the shot. Kirkliston City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
