In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dalwhinnie's goalkeeper Fraser Malcolmson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match, Drew Buntine got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fraser Malcolmson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 29th minute, Douglas Buckley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dalwhinnie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Drew Buntine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fraser Malcolmson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Darius Ruskin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fraser Malcolmson, 2-1. Drew Buntine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Darius Ruskin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fraser Malcolmson, passed just outside the right post. Timmy McQuartie hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darius Ruskin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Douglas Buckley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold McFater having to interfere. Uruguay F.C.'s Drew Buntine got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fraser Howe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold McFater having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Uruguay F.C.'s goalkeeper Harold McFater had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Buckley. Fraser Malcolmson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darius Ruskin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harold McFater showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fraser Howe in the 78th minute of the match. Arthur Byers hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Darius Ruskin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drew Buntine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fraser Malcolmson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uruguay F.C.'s Harold McFater proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay F.C. from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dalwhinnie players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Uruguay F.C..
