Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Clackmannan's Mark Connelly started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Nicky McBrieve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Uruguay F.C.'s Nicky McBrieve got a free kick in the 11th minute. Harry McGrath hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Connelly in the 21st minute of play forced Uruguay F.C.'s goalkeeper Harold McFater to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Connelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Harold McFater tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Mark Connelly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clackmannan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Connelly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 played minutes Uruguay F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jim McPhedron. When Mark Connelly came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Clackmannan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Connelly couldn't finish the play. Harold McFater showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Connelly in the 35th minute of the match. If Calum Blair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 39 in the game by Calum Blair from a close distance when the talented Harold McFater managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay F.C.'s players were relieved. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clackmannan's goalkeeper Stevie McGorry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Darius Ruskin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stevie McGorry having to interfere. Stevie McGorry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Drew Buntine, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The Clackmannan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay F.C. were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darius Ruskin made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Drew Buntine got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stevie McGorry was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 54 minutes into the game, Darius Ruskin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stevie McGorry. Darius Ruskin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Adrian Home's late challenge caught a Clackmannan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Home helped the player get up and apologised. Adrian Home kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Calum Blair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Harold McFater tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jim McPhedron made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 68thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Stevie McGorry would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Darius Ruskin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Stevie McGorry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Connelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold McFater having to interfere. Harold McFater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calum Blair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicky McBrieve's late challenge caught a Clackmannan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicky McBrieve helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Uruguay F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nicky McBrieve. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Connelly in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harold McFater prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harold McFater showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calum Blair, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Clackmannan's Stevie McGorry proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Clackmannan from getting a goal against them. In the 95th match minute, Clackmannan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calum Blair to maneuver through the defense.
