Spectators: 7842 (Terracing: 5883, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 156) 5 minutes into the game, Carrbridge's Nicol Petrie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Larry McGown made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Ray Lonie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrbridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mc Dillon FC the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Carrbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray Lonie to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes, Nicol Petrie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrbridge and the Mc Dillon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Carrbridge got a freekick which was hit by Nicol Petrie. Nicol Petrie kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Tim Dickson shot from long distance in the 12th minute, but William Smith was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 14thth minute of the game Fergus Dochart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mc Dillon FC's Larry McGown was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Larry McGown showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavin Barns in the 15th minute of the match. Gavin Barns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Larry McGown tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 19th minute when Nick McHardy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Mc Dillon FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciaran Connor. In the 27th minute, Fergus Dochart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Larry McGown was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 34th minute, Alexander Jones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 35 minutes, Gordon Yuill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrbridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gordon Yuill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim McBain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reece Carmichael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Smith having to interfere. Mc Dillon FC's Jim McBain got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Fergus Dochart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Larry McGown read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Tim Dickson's late challenge caught a Carrbridge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Dickson helped the player get up and apologised. Fergus Dochart who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Larry McGown when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fergus Dochart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Larry McGown made a huge save. 63 minutes into the game, Jim McBain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. William Smith was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gavin Barns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larry McGown having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Gavin Barns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrbridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavin Barns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim McBain succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-4. 84 minutes into the match, Carrbridge's goal looked a bit too open when Reece Carmichael came free, but William Smith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jim McBain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mc Dillon FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Gavin Barns scored to the left of an out of position Larry McGown, making the score, 3-5. Carrbridge's William Smith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reece Carmichael in the 93rd minute of play. Gavin Barns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larry McGown having to interfere. The Carrbridge players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
