Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joshua Sorely kicked off to start the match. Iain Hobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky McIlrevie in the 4th minute of play. After 4 played minutes Corrour got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Webster. If Joshua Sorely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mauchline's goalkeeper Christopher Morgan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Charlie Duthie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Clark might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iain Hobson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Clark ran back to his position shaking his head. Christopher Morgan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phil Ashmore in the 22nd minute. Christopher Morgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Sorely in the 26th minute of the match. Phil Ashmore struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Christopher Morgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corrour. 30 minutes into the match, Corrour's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky McIlrevie came free, but Iain Hobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mauchline getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Charlie Duthie hit a great ball. Joshua Sorely took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christopher Morgan. Christopher Morgan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Christopher Morgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Sorely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricky McIlrevie made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Corrour's zone, Charles Clark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iain Hobson came out of the goal and Charles Clark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quentin Webster's late challenge caught a Mauchline's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quentin Webster helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Corrour got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Webster. In the 58th match minute, Corrour was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miles Roberts to maneuver through the defense. Ricky McIlrevie hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Corrour got a freekick which was hit by Miles Roberts. Christopher Morgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil Ashmore, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Joshua Sorely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Ashmore in the 75th minute of play forced Mauchline's goalkeeper Christopher Morgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicol Forbes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Charles Clark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Iain Hobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricky McIlrevie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Clarks short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Iain Hobson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mauchline's Sam McVey suffered a sore thigh after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Danny McGilbert's late challenge caught a Mauchline's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny McGilbert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, Corrour was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny McGilbert to maneuver through the defense. Charles Clark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iain Hobson having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Corrour's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Charles Clark fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Corrour's zone, Charles Clark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iain Hobson came out of the goal and Charles Clark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
