Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lloyd Ayson started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brian Lewis during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Menstrie's Brian Lewis got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If Stuart McKelloch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony McSorley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Ayson in the 10th minute of the match. Stuart McKelloch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tony McSorley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timothy Train hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Blair McKinley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony McSorley made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Stuart McKelloch sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Davie McEwan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony McSorley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stuart McKelloch in the 37th minute. Brian Lewis got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Menstrie getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Brian Lewis hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Harris's Nicholas Guthrie broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dominic McKinnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Forsyth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When Stuart McKelloch came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Harris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stuart McKelloch couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Blair McKinley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menstrie's supporters rose to their feet, but Blair McKinley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominic McKinnell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Forsyth struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Dominic McKinnell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menstrie. 62 minutes into the match, Harris's goalkeeper Dominic McKinnell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Forsyth. In the 68th minute, Stuart McKelloch made a precise shot to the right of Tony McSorley. Menstrie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 82nd match minute, Menstrie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry McAldonich to maneuver through the defense. Menstrie's Tony McSorley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart McKelloch in the 86th minute of play. Harris's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
