After a defensive mix-up in Drummore's zone, Kyle McIver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus McLaws came out of the goal and Kyle McIver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel McVicar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomas McCartney hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Nicky McLamond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel McVicar in the 15th minute of play. If Kyle McIver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Kyle McIver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcus McLaws was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kenny Fulton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus McLaws having to interfere. Marcus McLaws showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Fulton in the 35th minute of the match. If Kyle McIver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kyle McIver scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus McLaws, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel McVicar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmond Conlon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Humbie City were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

2-2 became the score in the 52nd minute when Daniel McVicar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Humbie City's Kyle McIver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus McLaws narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Fulton in the 58th minute of play forced Drummore's goalkeeper Marcus McLaws to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61st play minutes Kenny Fulton shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Marcus McLaws and just under the crossbar into goal. Kyle McIver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marcus McLaws tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus McLaws showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Fulton, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel McVicar in the 86th minute of play forced Humbie City's goalkeeper Nicky McLamond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humbie City's Nicky McLamond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Conlon in the 88th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Barry McVean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Drummore's Marcus McLaws got control of the ball when Kyle McIver tried to sneak it across the goal line. Drummore's Marcus McLaws proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Drummore from getting a goal against them. Nicky McLamond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel McVicar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
