Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nicol Pinkerton made the kick off which started today's match. Robert McNair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Symon having to interfere. Iain Means sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Iain Means managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Iain Means was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Euan Caddell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnny McRuer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Euan Caddell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmond Torry's late challenge caught a Manchester USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmond Torry helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Banchory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond Torry to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Banchory booed when Manchester USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Adie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Banchory's Ben Neal tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. James Symon made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Robert McNair sent off a good shot on target. James Symon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicol Pinkerton in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester USA's goalkeeper James Symon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Robert McNair took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for James Symon to make any attempt to save it. Iain Means sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicol Pinkerton in the 40th minute of play forced Manchester USA's goalkeeper James Symon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terry McCorrie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iain Means in the 45th minute of play forced Banchory's goalkeeper Euan Caddell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Iain Means could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Euan Caddell made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Banchory's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny McRuer came free, but Euan Caddell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Iain Means had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iain Means sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 64th minute of the match Edmond Torry completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edmond Torry a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 72nd minute, Nicol Pinkerton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iain Means's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Euan Caddell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. James Symon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert McNair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes Manchester USA got a freekick which was hit by Terry McCorrie. Calum McRaith hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Robert McNair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Symon having to interfere. Banchory were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Manchester USA for a fine match.
