Spectators: 6806 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oliver McCorkill made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute Oliver McCorkill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Tonnochy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Norman might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mike Meikleham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthony Norman ran back to his position shaking his head. Anthony Norman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phillip Murchison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mike Meikleham made a huge save. After 14 minutes, John Cavanagh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunblane and the Dunblane players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dunblane booed when Dunblane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Cavanagh didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Oliver McCorkill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Tonnochy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Stringer in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes of play Dunblane's John Cavanagh was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 22 played minutes Dunblane got a freekick which was hit by John Cavanagh. 25 minutes into the match, Dunblane's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Stringer came free, but Kevin Tonnochy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Tonnochy came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Dunblane's Oliver McCorkill. But to his dismay, Oliver McCorkill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Phillip Murchison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunblane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phillip Murchison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dunblane's Kevin Tonnochy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt Stringer in the 31st minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Dunblane's Oliver McCorkill made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevin Tonnochy was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 37th play minutes Ryan Burk shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Mike Meikleham and just under the crossbar into goal. 42 minutes into the game, Dunblane's Ross McIlriach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kevin Tonnochy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The supporters of Dunblane booed when Dunblane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ross McIlriach didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Phillip Murchison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dunblane's Matt Stringer got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Matt Stringer notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Dunblane's Kevin Tonnochy. Kevin Tonnochy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the game, Ross McIlriach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunblane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dunblane the free kick. Ross McIlriach hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dunblane's zone, Oliver McCorkill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Tonnochy came out of the goal and Oliver McCorkill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Jordan Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Dunblane's Phillip Murchison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mike Meikleham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Anthony Norman hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Matt Stringer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Norman charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthony Norman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mike Meikleham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phillip Murchison in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dunblane had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
