After a rather tough play, AFC SCOTLAND PRIDE's Calum Paton got a free kick in the 4th minute. Charlie Lemond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan McGaw in the 8th minute of the match. AFC SCOTLAND PRIDE's Frank Fraser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Bowie in the 12th minute of play. Stephen Esson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timothy McAskill hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes, Stephen Esson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. AFC SCOTLAND PRIDE's Frank Fraser tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Peter McMurchie charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter McMurchie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peter McMurchie hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gareth McMaster sped through Mount Cliff Ducks's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charlie Lemond. In the 44th match minute, Mount Cliff Ducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter McMurchie to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Brian Forsyth sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mount Cliff Ducks's Charlie Lemond didn't even have to move. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Bowie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, AFC SCOTLAND PRIDE's Alan McGaw sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Lemond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Jonathan Bowie took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Frank Fraser to make any attempt to save it. Charlie Lemond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gareth McMaster, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Gareth McMaster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC SCOTLAND PRIDE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gareth McMaster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Marcus Clement hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Bowie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frank Fraser came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Bowie slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 80th minute. Frank Fraser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Bowie in the 84th minute of play. Alan McGaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan McGaw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gareth McMaster, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 98 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Charlie Lemond was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
