Spectators: 8074 (Terracing: 6057, Seating: 1857, VIP seats: 160) Chris Ainsworth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes, Rod Hill made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. PRIME UTD's Tommy McNee tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Murray McTire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavin Adamson in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin Adamson in the 12th minute of play forced Argyll Highlanders's goalkeeper Murray McTire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When PRIME UTD's Gavin Adamson in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Argyll Highlanders's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Argyll Highlanders's Adrian King got a free kick in the 15th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Argyll Highlanders's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mike McCruithein was slow to take the kick. During this time PRIME UTD's players had a chance to rest. The corner led PRIME UTD's Mike McCruithein to fire away a dangerous shot which Murray McTire despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 19 played minutes Argyll Highlanders got a freekick which was hit by Rod Hill. In the 21st minute Gavin Adamson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murray McTire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murray McTire came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by PRIME UTD's Harry McBride. But to his dismay, Harry McBride quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Argyll Highlanders defense, Gavin Adamson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murray McTire. The Argyll Highlanders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murray McTire should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Gavin Adamson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gavin Adamson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argyll Highlanders's Murray McTire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When PRIME UTD's Gavin Adamson in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Argyll Highlanders's goalie prevented a goal. Nathan Frew hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gavin Adamson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argyll Highlanders's goalkeeper Murray McTire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gavin Adamson made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Hill in the 61st minute of play forced PRIME UTD's goalkeeper Tommy McNee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Harry McBride came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the PRIME UTD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry McBride couldn't finish the play. In the 64thth minute of the game Gavin Adamson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argyll Highlanders's Murray McTire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harry McBride's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Murray McTire skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Gavin Adamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Argyll Highlanders booed when PRIME UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Davie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Argyll Highlanders's Gordon McDulothe got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Harry McBride notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Argyll Highlanders's Murray McTire. Murray McTire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PRIME UTD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
