With a left leg Ronald Binnie saved Los clásicos BFC from getting behind. When Huntly's Alex Moodie in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los clásicos BFC's goalie prevented a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Los clásicos BFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Christie came free, but Ronald Binnie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huntly's Jacob Fox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Huntly from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Terence Dowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Los clásicos BFC's Miles Wilkinson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacob Fox narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alex Moodie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronald Binnie was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Huntly's goal looked a bit too open when Alistair Simon came free, but Jacob Fox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Fox made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miles Wilkinson in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Huntly's Ter Tawse got a free kick in the 60th minute. Munro Pratt kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Luke McOran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los clásicos BFC and the Huntly players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alan McEol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ronald Binnie made a huge save. Los clásicos BFC's Alistair Simon got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Moodie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Sam Christie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronald Binnie. Los clásicos BFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sam Christie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Miles Wilkinson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacob Fox was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Huntly's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
