Norman Hutchison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ronald Binnie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miles Wilkinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Symon having to interfere. A collision led to Bishopton getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Vincent McVarish hit a great ball. Adam Symon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liam McDuffie went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ron McMurchy might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronald Binnie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ron McMurchy ran back to his position shaking his head. If Nigel McKinney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Terry Laidlaw's late challenge caught a Bishopton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Terry Laidlaw helped the player get up and apologised. Terry Laidlaw kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Los clásicos BFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miles Wilkinson to strike the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Los clásicos BFC's corner Alistair Simon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adam Symon quite easily take care of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Vincent McVarish was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bishopton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los clásicos BFC the free kick. A collision led to Bishopton getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Vincent McVarish hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, one of Bishopton:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bishopton. Miles Wilkinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Symon having to interfere. Bishopton's Nigel McKinney got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
