Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Henry McHutcheon made the kick off which started today's match. Adam Symon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry McHutcheon in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Johnstone SFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ter McQuisten hit a great ball. In the 8th match minute, Johnstone SFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris McOnie to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bishopton's Adam Symon got control of the ball when Ter McQuisten tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Johnstone SFC's Ter McQuisten made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Symon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Henry McHutcheon came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Johnstone SFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry McHutcheon couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 20 in the game by Ter McQuisten from a close distance when the talented Adam Symon managed to make a qualified save. Bishopton's players were relieved. In the 21st minute, Norman Hutchison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bishopton getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vincent McVarish hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ter McQuisten got free with Adam Symon in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henry McHutcheon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Adam Symon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 3-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Ter McQuisten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ron McMurchy to strike the kick off in the second half. Ter McQuisten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnstone SFC's Ter McQuisten got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute Ter McQuisten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Symon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Callum McMartin kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Henry McHutcheon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bishopton's zone, Ter McQuisten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Symon came out of the goal and Ter McQuisten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry McHutcheon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ter McQuisten in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Symon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Johnstone SFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
