Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Greig McLaws kicked off to start the match. Willie McNeil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronald Eadie in the 4th minute. Andy McKenzie's late challenge caught a KingsHall's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andy McKenzie helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Milltimber got a freekick which was hit by Andy McKenzie. Willie McNeil was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Harry Lamondson. If Ronald Eadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 16 minutes on the clock, Edmond McChlerich commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 17th match minute, KingsHall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond McChlerich to maneuver through the defense. Malcolm McEoin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavin Fairbairn in the 18th minute of the match. When Terry Carter came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Milltimber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Carter couldn't finish the play. Ronald Eadie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Willie McNeil made a huge save. Willie McNeil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Morren in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Milltimber's goalkeeper Willie McNeil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronald Eadie. Ronald Eadie succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 34th playminute. In the 38th minute, one of Milltimber:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Milltimber. Milltimber:s Willie McNeil showed great skill when he stopped Harry Lamondson:s penalty. With his leg Willie McNeil managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when KingsHall's Ronald Eadie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 47 minutes, Ronald Eadie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KingsHall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronald Eadie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronald Eadie to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ronald Eadie notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Milltimber's Willie McNeil. Willie McNeil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronald Eadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Willie McNeil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ronald Eadie managed to get in a good position for a shot. KingsHall's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Eadie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willie McNeil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronald Eadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Milltimber's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Morren came free, but Willie McNeil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, KingsHall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Dean to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Adrian Morren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willie McNeil. Milltimber's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Morren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greig McLaws in the 77th minute of play forced KingsHall's goalkeeper Malcolm McEoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronald Eadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andy Dean in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willie McNeil saved Milltimber from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Robb during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KingsHall booed when Milltimber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Robb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Eadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Willie McNeil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas McAskill during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes KingsHall got a freekick which was hit by Douglas McAskill. KingsHall's Calum McLachlan got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the KingsHall players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
