Fireverm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donald McGilvray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jeremy Pinkerton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Alderson in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Jack Alderson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeremy Pinkerton. Jack Alderson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Edward McNeish hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jack Alderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Alderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Pinkerton having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Jack Alderson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Crazy Hill's Jeremy Pinkerton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Crazy Hill from getting a goal against them. Donald McGilvray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob McCrain having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sam Malcolmson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rob McCrain was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Crazy Hill's Jeremy Pinkerton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Crazy Hill from getting a goal against them. Jeremy Pinkerton was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Jack Alderson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jack Alderson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The supporters of Fireverm booed when Crazy Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm McOmish didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Alderson was the one to do the kick off. Rob McCrain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Malcolmson in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Ray Allanson notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Crazy Hill's Jeremy Pinkerton. Jeremy Pinkerton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 72 minutes, Ray Allanson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fireverm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ray Allanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Donald McGilvray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, one of Fireverm:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fireverm. Jack Alderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Pinkerton having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Donald McGilvray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rob McCrain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Malcolmson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donald McGilvray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Rob McCrain made a huge save. In the 94th minute Ray Allanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Pinkerton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crazy Hill's Jeremy Pinkerton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Alderson in the 96th minute of play. Rory Bryde hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Ray Allanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Pinkerton having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fireverm had won after a very even match.
