With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremy Pinkerton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wigtown's Graham Stalker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Wigtown from getting a goal against them. Crazy Hill's Jeremy Pinkerton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Gibson in the 17th minute of play. Jeremy Pinkerton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Gibson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Sam Malcolmson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Graham Stalker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Wigtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darius McUre to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Donald McGilvray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crazy Hill's supporters rose to their feet, but Donald McGilvray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Graham Stalker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sam Malcolmson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Graham Stalker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wigtown's Frankie Daniels got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 38th match minute, Crazy Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm McOmish to maneuver through the defense. Barry Gibson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47thth minute of the game Barry Gibson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crazy Hill's Jeremy Pinkerton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sam Malcolmson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeremy Pinkerton came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wigtown's Kenny Michie. But to his dismay, Kenny Michie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Graham Stalker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Malcolmson in the 72nd minute of the match. If Donald McGilvray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm McOmish's late challenge caught a Wigtown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm McOmish helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wigtown booed when Crazy Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm McOmish didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gus Parlane kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Jeremy Pinkerton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Gibson in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Jamie McCansh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Malcolmson in the 93rd minute of play forced Wigtown's goalkeeper Graham Stalker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sam Malcolmson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
