After a rather tough play, Barga FC's Drew McKintosh got a free kick in the 7th minute. Stevie Alder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane McFie having to interfere. Nick Leslie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Shane McFie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th match minute, Barga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew McKintosh to maneuver through the defense. If Neil Robb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel McShimes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Barga FC's Rupert McCall got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rupert McCall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky McMaurice having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Stevie Alder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MUMIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stevie Alder made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC MUMIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevie Alder to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Barga FC's zone, Stevie Alder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shane McFie came out of the goal and Stevie Alder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MUMIN's goalkeeper Ricky McMaurice, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rupert McCall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Robb's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Ricky McMaurice skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rupert McCall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stevie Alder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shane McFie having to make a save. Malcolm Kinnieson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ricky McMaurice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert McCall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert McCall in the 86th minute of play forced FC MUMIN's goalkeeper Ricky McMaurice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neil Robb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ricky McMaurice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC MUMIN fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barga FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
