Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Drew Gowrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max McPhorich in the 92nd minute of the match. Henry Murphy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Drew Gowrie having to make a save. Kirknewton's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
