Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rupert McCall took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Barga FC's Rupert McCall in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eyemouth FC's goalie prevented a goal. Neil Robb took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Devlin. Jimmy Devlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Rupert McCall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Devlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Eyemouth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert McCall came free, but Jimmy Devlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Barga FC got a freekick which was hit by Drew McKintosh. Drew McKintosh hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jimmy Devlin came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Barga FC's Rupert McCall. But to his dismay, Rupert McCall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Patrick Coutts kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Eyemouth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Robb came free, but Jimmy Devlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neil Robb succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Neil Robb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Barga FC booed when Eyemouth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Crozier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rod Tawse succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 59th playminute. Neil Robb took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Devlin. Jimmy Devlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 73rd minute, Rupert McCall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmy Devlin made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Neil Robb sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th match minute, Barga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rod Tawse to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Coutts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Neil Robb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Robb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neil Robb's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Jimmy Devlin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Finlay Campbell in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shane McFie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Neil Robbs short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Jimmy Devlin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 96 minutes, Robin Crozier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eyemouth FC and the Barga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Eyemouth FC's Robin Crozier got a free kick in the 96th minute. Barga FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
