Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nathan McLiver got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Kyle Sandison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fraser Duthie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fraser Duthie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Kinnieson in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Jack Tawesson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burnium FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westfield AFC the free kick. The supporters of Westfield AFC booed when Burnium FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Tawesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricky McCaig kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Westfield AFC's David McGilvernock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathan McLiver in the 16th minute of play. Timothy McCorkill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. David McGilvernock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Burnium FC's Nathan McLiver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David McGilvernock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Howe in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fraser Duthie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Terence Suttie kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. David McGilvernock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan McLiver in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Westfield AFC's goalkeeper David McGilvernock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timothy McCorkill. 38 minutes in the game, Timothy McCorkill fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without David McGilvernock having to interfere. When Nathan McLiver came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Burnium FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathan McLiver couldn't finish the play. David McGilvernock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan McLiver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Timothy McCorkill left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burnium FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Timothy McCorkill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. David McGilvernock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Howe was the one to do the kick off. Terence Suttie struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. David McGilvernock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burnium FC. After a rather tough play, Burnium FC's Nathan McLiver got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Nathan McLiver made a precise shot to the right of David McGilvernock. Westfield AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Timothy McCorkill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnium FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Timothy McCorkill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David McGilvernock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Howe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fraser Duthie having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Burnium FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terence Suttie to maneuver through the defense. Burnium FC's Fraser Duthie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Howe in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Timothy McCorkill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David McGilvernock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David McGilvernock came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Burnium FC's Timothy McCorkill. But to his dismay, Timothy McCorkill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 87th minute, Nathan McLiver made a precise shot to the right of David McGilvernock. Westfield AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. David McGilvernock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan McLiver in the 98th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Burnium FC were the better team. Burnium FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
