In the 57th minute, Guy Scott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luke McOran was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, Denny City's goal looked a bit too open when Iain McKay came free, but Luke McOran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Denny City's protests and gave Ciaran Alsop a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Ciaran Alsop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luke McOran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Scott in the 92nd minute of the match. If Iain McKay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute Guy Scott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke McOran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wishaw had played much better football throughout.
