With a little luck, Denny City's Luke McOran got control of the ball when Lee McEwan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denny City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Lee McEwan scored to the left of an out of position Luke McOran, making the score, 1-0. If Ryan Fowler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Denny City's zone, Samuel Frew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luke McOran came out of the goal and Samuel Frew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ryan Fowler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luke McOran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Richard Ferguson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Bonar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lee McEwan in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luke McOran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lee McEwan to make the kick off. Lee McEwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke McOran having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lee McEwan in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luke McOran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes Denny City got a freekick which was hit by Nicky McTavish. Luke McOran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Gray in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Sam Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Britain LIONS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Gray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Lee McEwan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denny City's Luke McOran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luke McOran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee McEwan in the 65th minute of the match. Sam Gray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lee McEwan in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luke McOran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malcolm McIvor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke McOran having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Denny City! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Great Britain LIONS FC. Andrew Tyre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luke McOran. 3-0. After 83 played minutes Great Britain LIONS FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Frew. Lee McEwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke McOran having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Denny City's zone, Ryan Fowler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luke McOran came out of the goal and Ryan Fowler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Lee McEwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke McOran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lee McEwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Sam Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Great Britain LIONS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sam Gray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luke McOran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malcolm McIvor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lee McEwan in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luke McOran saved Denny City from getting behind. If Malcolm McIvor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Great Britain LIONS FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
