Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeremy Ferries kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Oliver McOmish's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dylan Ewart was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver McOmish in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dylan Ewart saved Thurso AFC from getting behind. If Oliver McOmish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thurso AFC's Dylan Ewart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Thurso AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 24thth minute of the game Oliver McOmish who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thurso AFC's Dylan Ewart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BARABA's Oliver McOmish was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 29 minutes, Ronald Ambrose mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thurso AFC and the BARABA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, one of Thurso AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Thurso AFC. Jeremy Ferries had several of the Thurso AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Dylan Ewart as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jeremy Ferries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver McOmish in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dylan Ewart saved Thurso AFC from getting behind. With a little luck, Thurso AFC's Dylan Ewart got control of the ball when Jeremy Ferries tried to sneak it across the goal line. BARABA's Oliver McOmish managed to work through Thurso AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Oliver McOmish dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jeremy Ferries could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Dylan Ewart made a huge save. Jeremy Ferries who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Dylan Ewart when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

After a rather tough play, Thurso AFC's Munro Doig got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute Oliver McOmish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Ewart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Thurso AFC's zone, Malcolm Brown stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylan Ewart came out of the goal and Malcolm Brown tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Oliver McOmish left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BARABA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Jeremy Ferries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BARABA made a substitution. Mike Pollard replaced Malcolm Brown. BARABA's Jeremy Ferries got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When BARABA's Oliver McOmish in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thurso AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Dylan Ewart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Ferries in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Thurso AFC's Munro Doig got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jeremy Ferries managed to get in a good position for a shot. BARABA's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremy Ferries was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Ewart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BARABA made a substitution. Reece Lees replaced Jeremy Ferries. In a very dangerous position, a player in Thurso AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Oliver McOmish sped through Thurso AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dylan Ewart. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BARABA had played much better football throughout.
