Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1877, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. George Basnett started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacob King during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Larbert booed when Dalmally was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob King didn't get a good kick on the ball. James Cottrill made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dalmally's Jacob King. 13 minutes into the match, Dalmally's goalkeeper Nathan McAchounich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddie Bontein. Steve McKail kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Samuel McThomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan McAchounich having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Samuel McThomas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nathan McAchounich. Dalmally's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel McThomas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Nathan McAchounich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Gibson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 25 minutes, Samuel McThomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Larbert's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel McThomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel McThomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nathan McAchounich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddie Bontein charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddie Bontein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eddie Bontein hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes Larbert got a freekick which was hit by Troy McClymont. In the 38th minute, Eddie Bontein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Dalmally's goalkeeper Nathan McAchounich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddie Bontein. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, James Cottrill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larbert's supporters rose to their feet, but James Cottrill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nathan McAchounich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nathan McAchounich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel McThomas in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel McThomas in the 53rd minute of play forced Dalmally's goalkeeper Nathan McAchounich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nathan McAchounich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel McThomas in the 54th minute of play. Dalmally's Nathan McAchounich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel McThomas in the 58th minute of play. Samuel McThomas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nathan McAchounich read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel McThomas in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nathan McAchounich saved Dalmally from getting behind. Eddie Bontein kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Steve McKail cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Nathan McAchounich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Troy McClymont hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
