The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When George Basnett came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Dalmally fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Basnett couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Jacob King hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Max Wylie fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpia Elblag SC's protests and gave Max Wylie a yellow card for diving instead. Dalmally's George Basnett got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olimpia Elblag SC's Sean Doig got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nathan McAchounich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Allan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Basnett struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nathan McDade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalmally. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Basnett made a kick off. After 62 played minutes Olimpia Elblag SC got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Allan. In the 68th minute, Gary Lyall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes Olimpia Elblag SC got a freekick which was hit by Aidan McGugan. Jacob King recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmally's Nathan McAchounich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Lyall in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Sean Doig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan McAchounich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Wylie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nathan McAchounich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Olimpia Elblag SC were victorious despite being under pressure from Dalmally for much of the match.
