Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 100) Olimpia Elblag SC's Gary Lyall started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Gary Lyall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wayne Stalker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Olimpia Elblag SC's Nathan McDade got control of the ball when Samuel McThomas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When James Cottrill came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Larbert fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Cottrill couldn't finish the play. After having played for 17 minutes, Samuel McThomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Larbert's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel McThomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Nathan McDade successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nathan McDade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel McThomas went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Samuel McThomass short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Nathan McDade to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 29 in the game by Samuel McThomas from a close distance when the talented Nathan McDade managed to make a qualified save. Olimpia Elblag SC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Larbert's zone, Aidan McGugan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wayne Stalker came out of the goal and Aidan McGugan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Olimpia Elblag SC's goalkeeper Nathan McDade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel McThomas. If Steve McKail had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rory Gibson came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Larbert fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rory Gibson couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel McThomas made a kick off. Eddie Bontein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nathan McDade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, one of Olimpia Elblag SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olimpia Elblag SC. The referee gave Larbert a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Steve McKail, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olimpia Elblag SC's Nathan McDade. 3-0. In the 65th minute James Cottrill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan McDade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Larbert fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Larbert's Samuel McThomas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aidan McGugan's late challenge caught a Larbert's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aidan McGugan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Olimpia Elblag SC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aidan McGugan hit a great ball. Gary Lyall hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Olimpia Elblag SC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel McThomas came free, but Nathan McDade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nathan McDade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Bontein in the 85th minute of play. Nathan McDade came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Larbert's Samuel McThomas. But to his dismay, Samuel McThomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Troy McClymont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samuel McThomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan McDade having to interfere. Larbert walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
