After some careless play in the Baloburn United defense, Neil Clyne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taylor Lemond. The Baloburn United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taylor Lemond should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Joe Dingwall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronnie McGilroy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Taylor Lemond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Clyne in the 17th minute of the match. Nigel McNey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Dingwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie McGilroy having to interfere. Taylor Lemond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nigel McNey in the 27th minute of play. Nigel McNey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Taylor Lemond having to make a save. Neil Clyne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronnie McGilroy made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Rory Arthur sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Ricky Leitch fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baloburn United's protests and gave Ricky Leitch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, one of Baloburn United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Baloburn United. The referee gave Bahji FC a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Irvin Ferson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Baloburn United's Taylor Lemond. 2-2. Baloburn United's Taylor Lemond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Baloburn United from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Neil Clyne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahji FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Neil Clyne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taylor Lemond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neil Clyne might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Taylor Lemond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Neil Clyne ran back to his position shaking his head. Neil Clyne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Bahji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Arthur came free, but Ronnie McGilroy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bahji FC's Neil Clyne in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Baloburn United were victorious despite being under pressure from Bahji FC for much of the match.
