Spectators: 8121 (Terracing: 6093, Seating: 1867, VIP seats: 161) Lee Douglas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Lewis Dunnachie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyler Ferries could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Johnny McNiter made a huge save. John Ogilvie charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Ogilvie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barry Milroy missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 8 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Josh Burk right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phillip Gregory in the 18th minute of play forced DEDRIDGE's goalkeeper Johnny McNiter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry Milroy kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Barry Milroy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes of play, DEDRIDGE's Liam McVean made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josh Burk was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Phillip Gregory in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnny McNiter saved DEDRIDGE from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Tyler Ferries got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lee Douglas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, DEDRIDGE's Tyler Meyners got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Phillip Gregory ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnny McNiter was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Tyler Ferries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Phillip Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny McNiter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny McNiter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phillip Gregory in the 69th minute of the match. Phillip Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Johnny McNiter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josh Burk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Milroy in the 80th minute of the match. Johnny McNiter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Phillip Gregory went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Castlebay's Tyler Ferries got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Archie Polson fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castlebay's protests and gave Archie Polson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Castlebay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Polson to maneuver through the defense. Liam McVean took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josh Burk. Josh Burk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Douglas in the 99th minute of play forced Castlebay's goalkeeper Josh Burk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th match minute, Castlebay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Polson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Lee Douglas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Josh Burk. That made the score 4-4 in the 101 minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
