The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th play minute Stephen Tosh came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Theo McKinven. 1-0. Stuart McLarty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie McLulich in the 18th minute of play. Fc Wpierdol's Hugh McMurrich pulled a muscle in his leg after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Greg McGuffie charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greg McGuffie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 22 minutes into the match, Fc Wpierdol's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie McLulich came free, but Stuart McLarty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Greg McGuffie made a precise shot to the right of Stuart McLarty. Fc Wpierdol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Stephen Tosh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eddie McLulich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Loch Lomond 04's zone, Archie Gibb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo McKinven came out of the goal and Archie Gibb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Greg McGuffie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Fc Wpierdol getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Anthony Carr hit a great ball. Eddie McLulich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Stuart McLarty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Loch Lomond 04 booed when Fc Wpierdol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alistair McGill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stuart McLarty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg McGuffie in the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddie McLulich to strike the kick off in the second half. Eddie McLulich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eddie McLulich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Greg McGuffie got free with Stuart McLarty in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stuart McLarty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie McLulich in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie McLulich in the 61st minute of play forced Fc Wpierdol's goalkeeper Stuart McLarty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 63rd minute of the match Anthony Carr completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anthony Carr a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 63rd minute, Anthony Carr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greg McGuffie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stuart McLarty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie McLulich in the 76th minute of the match. Archie Gibb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo McKinven having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Taylor Reoch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loch Lomond 04 and the Fc Wpierdol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Loch Lomond 04 got a freekick which was hit by Taylor Reoch. After 94 played minutes Fc Wpierdol got a freekick which was hit by Bradley Hamilton. Stuart McLarty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie McLulich in the 95th minute of the match.
