In the 45th match minute, Ballygrant City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavin Rose to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 49 minutes, Dominic Duffie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renoresa Psygi OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominic Duffie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryan Sherry to make the kick off. Neil Cassels came out of the goal and Aaron Fraser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Renoresa Psygi OFF's Ewan Combie got control of the ball when Ryan Sherry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ewan Combie was a little too slow when Ryan Sherry got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-2. After 87 played minutes Ballygrant City got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Acton. Lloyd Currie's late challenge caught a Ballygrant City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lloyd Currie helped the player get up and apologised. Ryan Sherry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
