DVA's Adrian Sime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Tosh in the 12th minute of play. Alan McGhie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stuart McLarty having to interfere. Gregor McPhadden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stephen Tosh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Fc Wpierdol's Stephen Tosh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Sime narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alan McGhie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

If Gregor McPhadden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fc Wpierdol's Archie Gibb got a free kick in the 54th minute. Stuart McLarty came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by DVA's Alan McGhie. But to his dismay, Alan McGhie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fc Wpierdol's Stephen Tosh got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Sime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Russell in the 74th minute of the match. Vincent Barrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan McGhie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stuart McLarty having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, DVA's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Russell came free, but Adrian Sime reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Wpierdol's zone, Gregor McPhadden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stuart McLarty came out of the goal and Gregor McPhadden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alan McGhie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Russell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
