Wal Cleland might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stuart McLarty. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wal Cleland ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Wpierdol's goalkeeper Stuart McLarty, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute Chris Russell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Roberts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wal Cleland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stuart McLarty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When Jordan McCansh fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ardrossan's protests and gave Jordan McCansh a yellow card for diving instead. Jordan McCansh kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alex Roberts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Russell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wal Cleland charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wal Cleland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wal Cleland kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Stuart McLarty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wal Cleland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Roberts didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 42 minutes of play, Ardrossan's Jordan McCansh made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stuart McLarty was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jordan McCansh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wal Cleland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stephen Tosh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Roberts having to interfere. Ardrossan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordan McCansh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Jordan McCansh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stuart McLarty was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 94 minutes into the game, Fc Wpierdol's Chris Russell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Roberts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Fc Wpierdol's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
