Danny Gallie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Porter having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Gary Burk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Gallie struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Lucas Porter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colintraive. Colin Colquhoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Porter having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Danny Gallie took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lucas Porter to make any attempt to save it. Danny Gallie might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Porter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danny Gallie ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Porter made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Colin Colquhoun sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the game, Gary Burk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ray Ellwood was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, Colintraive's Danny Gallie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucas Porter. Lucas Porter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in BLUE SCORPIONS AFC's zone, Colin Colquhoun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Porter came out of the goal and Colin Colquhoun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gary Burk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gary Burk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Colintraive's zone, Munro Ashmore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray Ellwood came out of the goal and Munro Ashmore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of BLUE SCORPIONS AFC booed when Colintraive was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Griesck didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Munro Ashmore's late challenge caught a Colintraive's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Munro Ashmore helped the player get up and apologised. Munro Ashmore kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Colintraive's Colin Colquhoun, in the 59th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Colintraive. In the 68th match minute, BLUE SCORPIONS AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Munro Ashmore to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to BLUE SCORPIONS AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gary Burk hit a great ball. Colintraive's Colin Colquhoun got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danny Gallie scored 3-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Porter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute Munro Ashmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Ellwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 90th minute, but Ray Ellwood got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Colintraive hanging dry this time. Danny Gallie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lucas Porter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
