Rod Carter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Marc Wheelan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ebola United's Jason Coull got control of the ball when Vinny Frissell tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Ebola United's Liam Lewis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Wheelan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ebola United's Rod Carter in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Banff's goalie prevented a goal. When Guy Lauchlan came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ebola United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guy Lauchlan couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Rod Carter sped through Banff's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marc Wheelan. After 28 played minutes Ebola United got a freekick which was hit by Liam Lewis. Jason Coull made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Andy Cross sent off a good shot on target. Rod Carter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marc Wheelan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guy Lauchlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Wheelan having to interfere. Marc Wheelan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod Carter, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Rod Carter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marc Wheelan having to make a save. Marc Wheelan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rod Carter went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinny Frissell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rod Carter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Wheelan having to interfere. Liam Malloch succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 54th playminute. A collision led to Banff getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Theo McKirdy hit a great ball. Liam Malloch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc Wheelan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Carter in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Ebola United getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Liam Lewis hit a great ball. The supporters of Ebola United booed when Banff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy McOmie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Wheelan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liam Lewis, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Ebola United's Rod Carter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Wheelan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ebola United's Rod Carter in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Banff's goalie prevented a goal. Andy Cross kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Rod Carter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
