Ebola United's Jason Coull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graham McInally in the 27th minute of play. Guy Lauchlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Benjamin Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dougal Baxter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod Carter, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ebola United's Rod Carter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamin Hughes. That made the score 0-3 after 96 minutes of play. Ebola United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
