The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ray Bruce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bruce Adams fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Paul Beattie took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evan Esson. In the 73rd minute, Ian McGugan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evan Esson. The goal made the score 1-6. Evan Esson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Adams in the 77th minute of play. Paul Beattie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
