Spectators: 6942 (Terracing: 5000,
Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 0) Ullapool's Dylan Constable started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicky Malcolm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Raith went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Keith Fraser struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Nicky Malcolm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clydebank. Nicky Malcolm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Raith, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Chris Raith left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clydebank fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Brian McCook hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taylor McKerracher in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicky Malcolm saved Ullapool from getting behind. Nicky Malcolm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Raith, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Dylan Constable was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nicky Malcolm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Raith in the 36th minute of play. Nicky Malcolm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Raith in the 38th minute of the match. Taylor McKerracher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Malcolm having to interfere. Nicky Malcolm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith Fraser in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas McKee during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Clydebank booed when Ullapool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas McKee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Raith made a kick off. Chris Raith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taylor McKerracher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alisdair Gardiner in the 55th minute of play forced Clydebank's goalkeeper Taylor Randolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Raith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Malcolm having to interfere. Nicky Malcolm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith Fraser in the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Nick Wheelan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ullapool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clydebank the free kick. After 65 played minutes Ullapool got a freekick which was hit by Nick Wheelan. Ullapool's Nicky Malcolm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ullapool from getting a goal against them. When Finlay McCabe fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clydebank's protests and gave Finlay McCabe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Clydebank getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Finlay McCabe hit a great ball. In the 76th match minute, Clydebank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken McVurich to maneuver through the defense. Taylor Randolf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alisdair Gardiner in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Lucas McKee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taylor McKerracher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Malcolm having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Calum Addison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes, Ullapool's Ewan McElheran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taylor Randolf came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ullapool reached it. Clydebank played a much better game than Ullapool and deserved their victory. The Ullapool players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
