The supporters of Stromness booed when Ballygrant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward McDaniell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ballygrant players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stromness were winning 0-2.

Roddie McSimon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3.
