Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Taylor McKerracher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. John McIlduy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Clydebank got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy McConacher. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keith Fraser during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Clydebank getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Keith Fraser hit a great ball. Keith Fraser hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Taylor Randolf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from James McBean went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Newcastleton were furious when Charles Currie was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 20th minute Dougal McKellaig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taylor Randolf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Newcastleton's James McBean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taylor Randolf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 24th minute, Taylor McKerracher reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of John McIlduy. The goal made the score 1-2. John McIlduy made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Taylor McKerracher sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Clydebank getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jimmy McConacher hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, John McIlduy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute Dougal McKellaig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taylor Randolf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. James McBean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Newcastleton's John McIlduy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keith Fraser in the 43rd minute of play. Dougal McKellaig took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taylor Randolf. Taylor Randolf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
In the 51st minute, Dougal McKellaig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Ciaran Reoch threw the ball into play from the sideline. Clydebank's Roy McCansh quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 58 minutes into the game, Taylor McKerracher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. John McIlduy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Keith Fraser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. John McIlduy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John McIlduy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Raith in the 63rd minute of the match. Taylor Randolf came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastleton's Dougal McKellaig. But to his dismay, Dougal McKellaig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. John McIlduy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ken McVurich's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. John McIlduy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith Fraser in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Newcastleton's goal looked a bit too open when Taylor McKerracher came free, but John McIlduy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taylor Randolf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James McBean in the 79th minute of the match. John McIlduy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Fraser, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Taylor Randolf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James McBean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taylor Randolf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James McBean in the 88th minute of play. Newcastleton's Dougal McKellaig got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John McIlduy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Raith in the 93rd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Keith Fraser quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Newcastleton eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
