The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam McTaggart got free with Nicky Malcolm in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Sam McTaggart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke McKellar in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicky Malcolm saved Ullapool from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, Dylan Constable was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ullapool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Holmavik the free kick. Luke McKellar took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicky Malcolm. Nicky Malcolm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Marc Davidson kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ullapool's zone, Luke McKellar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicky Malcolm came out of the goal and Luke McKellar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Luke McKellar made the kick off in the second half. Ewan McElheran's late challenge caught a AC Holmavik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ewan McElheran helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Ullapool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ewan McElheran to maneuver through the defense. AC Holmavik were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Ullapool's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcus Corrie took the corner. The corner led to AC Holmavik's Bruce Russell getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marc Davidson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Malcolm having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Ullapool's goal looked a bit too open when Luke McKellar came free, but Nicky Malcolm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Luke McKellar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Malcolm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sam McTaggart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicky Malcolm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke McKellar, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Ullapool's Nick Wheelan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Alisdair Gardiner came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stevie Low could save by the left post. If Alisdair Gardiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derek Cattanach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Stevie Low tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam McTaggart might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicky Malcolm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sam McTaggart ran back to his position shaking his head. Luke McKellar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
