Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ter McLeay got the match started through his kick off. Miles Munn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Dobbie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Invergarry AFC's Ivan Crombie got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes Invergarry AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Crombie. Kenny Haws in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miles Munn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aaron McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ter McLeay in the 8th minute of play. Ter McLeay scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaron McIan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Robin McGilvernock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron McIan. Alva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robin McGilvernock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Invergarry AFC's Miles Munn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Dobbie in the 29th minute of play. Ivan Crombie hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Taylor McBeath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Aaron McIan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alva's Aaron McIan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin McGilvernock in the 35th minute of play. Jake Brebner let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 37th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. Miles Munn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Dobbie in the 40th minute of the match. When Taylor McBeath came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Invergarry AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taylor McBeath couldn't finish the play. Aaron McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin McGilvernock in the 43rd minute of play. Miles Munn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil Dobbie, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Invergarry AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Phil Dobbie to make the kick off. Taylor McBeath recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miles Munn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Dobbie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ter McLeay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invergarry AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ter McLeay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron McIan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aaron McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fergus McKerras in the 63rd minute of play. Phil Dobbie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miles Munn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Miles Munn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenny Haws went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Alva's Aaron McIan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Alva from getting a goal against them. Kenny Haws fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miles Munn having to interfere. Miles Munn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Dobbie in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Alva's goal looked a bit too open when Robin McGilvernock came free, but Aaron McIan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Taylor McBeath made a precise shot to the right of Aaron McIan. Alva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The Invergarry AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Invergarry AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
