Declan McLardy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19thth minute of the game Jeremy Isles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montrose FC's Declan McLardy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Declan McLardy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greig Robison in the 22nd minute of play. Freddie Hawson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Mark Hawson made a huge save. When Lairg's Grant McLeverty in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the Lairg and the Montrose FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lairg getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Stuart McKellaigh hit a great ball. Montrose FC's Declan McLardy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greig Robison in the 96th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
