Norman McWalrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Joe Dempster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel McKellaig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Holemans having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Maccaulich FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman McWalrick to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Porter in the 11th minute of play forced Maccaulich FC's goalkeeper Sylvain Holemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Maccaulich FC's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Forsyth came free, but Sylvain Holemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylvain Holemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Porter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmond Douglas kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Malcolm Johnstone sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joe Dempster skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Maccaulich FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Richard McGhie hit a great ball. Maccaulich FC's Sylvain Holemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Porter in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes Maccaulich FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barry McDonald who took care of the corner kick. Jaguar FC's Barry McDonald was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sylvain Holemans in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Derek Grewars short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Joe Dempster to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Edmond Douglas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Joe Dempster stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norman McWalrick's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Norman McWalrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Joe Dempster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play, Maccaulich FC's Derek Grewar made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joe Dempster was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norman McWalrick in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joe Dempster prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Raymond Abbott fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaguar FC's protests and gave Raymond Abbott a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Jaguar FC got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Abbott. The Maccaulich FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Maccaulich FC's Norman McWalrick looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 77th minute, Hugh McTary hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Norman McWalrick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joe Dempster was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Grewar in the 89th minute of play forced Jaguar FC's goalkeeper Joe Dempster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norman McWalrick in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joe Dempster saved Jaguar FC from getting behind. After 93 minutes, Norman McWalrick made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jaguar FC's Joe Dempster tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the game, one of Jaguar FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Maccaulich FC a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Malcolm Johnstone, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jaguar FC's Joe Dempster. 7-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maccaulich FC had played much better football throughout.
