Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martin Johnstone took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Will McKillop got free with Sylvain Holemans in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shaun Porter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Fostar, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Declan Chisholm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lochgelly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maccaulich FC the free kick. Declan Chisholm kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Derek Grewar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaun Porter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Fostar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Porter having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Edward Fostar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lochgelly's Shaun Porter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Malcolm Johnstone in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lochgelly's Arthur Aird. In the 28th minute, Jordan McGilp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st match minute, Maccaulich FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Johnstone to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Fostar in the 34th minute of play forced Lochgelly's goalkeeper Shaun Porter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Will McKillop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lochgelly getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Will McKillop hit a great ball. Edward Fostar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Shaun Porter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edward Fostar kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Edward Fostar made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Edward Fostar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Shaun Porter. The throw-in from Gary Gruer in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lochgelly's Phillip Kenneth. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Derek Grewar took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Shaun Porter to make any attempt to save it. Shaun Porter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Fostar's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Phillip Kenneth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lochgelly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maccaulich FC the free kick. Phillip Kenneth kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lochgelly's Paddy Gilchrist got a free kick in the 76th minute. Shaun Porter made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Edward Fostar sent off a good shot on target. Although Lochgelly had been in control for most of the match, Maccaulich FC still came away with the win.
